Jewers Doors Installs Esavian doors for Presidential Flights Hangar
Bedfordshire based Jewers Doors recently completed a project to design, manufacture and install its world renowned Esavian doors in the Presidential Flights Hangar 2 at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The hangar, which has the capacity to accommodate up to 2 A380 aircraft, has a 181-metre opening divided in to two equal bays with Esavian Type 126 power operated steel sliding doors in four equal leaves on two parallel top and bottom tracks. Each of the leaves slides independently so that either one of the two bays may be clear at a time. The doors are fitted with the latest safety features.
This project is the latest in a long line of Esavian hangar door installations in the Middle East over many years.
